Progress through these tiers at your pace
Tier 1: Experience the innovation process (Sprint)
Understanding the market for your new product or service.
Participants begin by working on real organisational problems. Over a non-consecutive two-week period, they build a cohort identity, explore the problem deeply, then complete a full five-day sprint:
- Discover and define
- Ideate
- Build, measure, learn
Outcome: a lightly validated concept that teams can continue developing within their organisation.
Tiers 2–4: Learn and Do
Participants shift from experiencing innovation to mastering it.
Tier 2 — Discover & Define
Researching the problem through the eyes of those experiencing it.
Crystallising insights into a clear, testable problem statement.
Tier 3 — Ideation
Creative thinking methods to generate novel concepts.
Validation techniques to test and prioritise ideas.
Tier 4 — Build, Measure, Learn
Building prototypes based on what needs to be learnt.
Testing with stakeholders using rapid, low-risk methods.
Use of AI tools where appropriate.
Tier 5: Community of Practice
Ongoing cadence of practice, coaching, and collaboration.
Participants apply their skills, share learning, explore emerging approaches and strengthen cross-department relationships.
Tier 6: Expert Facilitation
Participants learn to design and run their own workshops and sprints:
- runsheets
- front-of-room confidence
- group management
- coaching fundamentals
These skills extend beyond innovation and strengthen leadership capability across the organisation.
Tier 7: Innovation Leadership
A mastery pathway for individuals building a career in innovation. Participants design, deliver and evaluate an end-to-end innovation programme or speciality project (e.g., AI & innovation, innovation mentoring).
