Creative HQ is working with the Reserve Bank of Fiji, Mastercard and international partners to establish the Fiji Innovation Hub: a space designed to support founders, strengthen the local innovation ecosystem and accelerate solutions to Fiji’s most pressing tech challenges.
Our experience building startup ecosystems in Aotearoa New Zealand has shown how powerful the right support structures can be. In Fiji, we see enormous entrepreneurial energy and opportunity. The Fiji Innovation Hub is designed to nurture that momentum – connecting local talent with global expertise, funding networks and opportunities to scale.

The building blocks of an innovation ecosystem
Here’s how we’re helping Fiji embrace innovation, from the ground up.
Building capability
Healthy innovation ecosystems rely on local people having the skills to lead the work. In Fiji, our role is not to direct activity as consultants, but to work alongside the community to build that capability internally.
Through a series of programmes and hands-on training, we help grow skills in innovation, venture building, mentoring and facilitation. The result is a growing network of practitioners across Fiji who are equipped to support entrepreneurs and continue to strengthening the local ecosystem.
Keeping the community connected
Events play an important role in bringing the innovation community together and keeping momentum strong. In Fiji, we host events at a physical hub that connect founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, mentors and supporters – creating space for ideas, experiences and opportunities to be shared.
By keeping people connected and energised, they help strengthen the foundations of the local startup ecosystem.
Helping startups start
We design and deliver programmes that help entrepreneurs move ideas forward – to test and launch them in the real world.
In Fiji, this includes initiatives such as hackathons and accelerators that bring founders, mentors and sector leaders together to work on new solutions.
These programmes give entrepreneurs structured support, practical tools and access to networks that help them validate ideas, build and gain momentum.
Enabling storytelling
A strong ecosystem also relies on clear communication and easy access to information. In Fiji, we are helping establish channels that allow people to stay informed, share stories and understand how they can get involved in the innovation community.
Through new information channels, founders, supporters and aspiring entrepreneurs can keep up with opportunities and events – keeping the impact visible, people connected connected and initiatives accessible.
A space to create and collaborate
The brand new creation the Fiji Innovation hub provides co-working spaces, meeting rooms and resources where innovators can connect, learn and grow their ventures.
