What’s in the Scale-up Support Package?
6 months of free:
- Coworking space
Up to 5 seats at Creative HQ, a co-working space in the heart of Wellington with a great vibe and all the amenities your team needs to get things done. Enjoy camaraderie with other startups and get involved with regular innovation events.
- World-class Advice
Want to learn from the best? This package will provide you with a budget to engage the right world-class advisors for your business. Our team can help you connect with a range of domestic and international leaders or simply fund the experts you’d like to engage.
- Connections, Know-how, and Tools
Our team can help you with everything from coaching to access to grant funding. At CreativeHQ you’ll become part of a collaborative community. You’ll be invited to events and education opportunities. We recognise that in the business-growth phase, your number one priority will be to focus on your business and attendance at extra-curricular activities will be entirely at your discretion.

Who’s the ScaleUp Wellington Support Package for?
The programme is open to businesses that:
Are based in the Wellington region
ScaleUp Wellington is for teams based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington and the surrounding region including the Wairarapa and Kapiti.
We support businesses that use technology to scale. This includes marketplace, e-Commerce, Saas, Fintech, Robotics, VR, Gaming, to companies solving problems with tech-enabled solutions.
Whether you’re post-revenue, or have recently raised an investment round, you’ve validated your market and are ready to grow!
Work from a central location
If you’re not quite ready for your own office but still want a central collaborative location with meeting and workshop space. This package is for business teams of between 2 – 5 people.
Can scale globally
We are looking for businesses with the ambition and potential to become global leaders and significant employers in the Wellington Region.
Are committed to the cause
We’re ready to invest in you and your business. This package is available for teams who are working full-time on their business.

Is there any programming I have to follow?
Nope! You’re free to work on your business at your own pace.
What happens at the end of the 6 months?
If you have not secured office space elsewhere, Creative HQ does offer paid co-working plans.
What if my team grows beyond 5?
You simply pay for the extra seats beyond the free 5 seats.
What about intellectual property?
Your IP belongs to you. Creative HQ and Wellington NZ do not take any shares or claim any rights over your idea or anything you develop during your time at Creative HQ.
