CHQ's startup division.
Through Lightning Lab, CHQ’s startup division, we run the Lightning Lab accelerator programme and Lightning Lab Incubation.
How we help startups
Our programmes bring discipline to startup life. We provide coaching and mentoring, practical startup support, a place to work, advice and a community of alumni.
LIGHTNING LAB ACCELERATOR
Take 2-hours to learn how structured innovation can transform a company.
The Focus Workshop is an interactive introduction to Enterprise Innovation. Participants complete a short assessment of current initiatives and practices and have a guided discussion of how to create transformational outcomes. After the Focus Workshop, CHQ will deliver a one-page summary, including our recommended next steps.
LIGHTNING LAB INCUBATION
Bring structure and discipline to enterprise innovation with a Sprint.
An Innovation Sprint is is a time-boxed period where teams work to complete a variety of structured and specific tasks. CHQ offers 7 sprint types, including Design Sprint and Problem Discovery Sprints. Once your company has completed the Focus Workshop, we will recommend the Sprint types that are right for your organisation.

"Lightning Lab has been pivotal for us. During the programme, we evolved from two guys hacking in our bedrooms to full-blown entrepreneurs who are taking on the world."

"Being part of the Kiwibank FinTech Accelerator helped us turn our idea into a business. Providing us with the momentum, tools and support we needed along the way."
